Event Details

The 79th Sharp County Fair will be from July 30-August 4, 2018 with lots of  new attractions.

The carnival is back with 2 arm band nights*, a Rodeo for two nights, a Truck & Tractor Pull, bingo night,  dog show and many other events, attractions and pageants.

Senior Day will be Thursday Aug. 2 from 10am to noon  with free ice cream or root beer/coke float and a free lunch and bingo from 12 noon to 2 pm..

Be sure to check the schedule for the different livestock shows that will be held throughout the week, and make time to look around the education building where all the exhibits will be on display.

On Saturday, Aug. 4th at 5:30 there will be the 2nd Annual Scholarship Cookie Jar Auction.  This scholarship goes back to a senior that has been active in the Sharp County Fair.

The primary mission of the fair is to provide an “educational opportunity for each of our exhibitors, because they are our future leaders.”

*Armband nights are Thursday and Saturday and are $15 in advance per night ($30 for both nights.) Stop by FNBC in Ash Flat, First Community Bank in Highland and Cave City, Tri-County Farm and Ranch and the Extension Office inside the courthouse in Ash Flat. Armbands will be $20 each when purchased at the fair. Buy early and save!
