Posting News/Articles & Events
Think of the post section as a simple word processor that once published will appear on your website for all to view!
You can edit and add and include images etc.
NOTES TO REMEMBER
Select the Save Draft (save it to continue working on later)
Select Preview (to see in a new window how it will appear live on the site)
Select Publish (to make it live for everyone to view)
- Public – The post will be visible to everyone.
- Private – The post will be visible only to blog Editors and Administrators. Private posts are not visible in the Reader, feeds, or in any search. A post can be private without being password protected.
- Password Protected -The post will be protected with a password you choose. Only those with the password can view this post.
Be sure to assign it to a proper category, also tags are optional (not really necessary)
For Post you can always edit the date if you wish for it to appear on the site at a later time, by setting a date in the future. You can also make a page password protected so only those with the password can view it as well as make it private too. For the Events post it has section specific for event dates and venues (easy to follow)
