The new site offers you many new benefits as a member. Most importantly, please review your own business listing on the site for accuracy and take the time to provide us with a short paragraph description of your business as well as one image of your logo or image that represents your business to be added to the site as well. MEET KATY

We are excited to introduce Katy Britt as SRACC’s new full-time office assistant. Originally from Minnesota, Katy moved here in 2015 and enjoys all the Spring River area has to offer, especially hunting and fishing with fiancé, Clint. Katy looks forward to meeting everyone and getting to know the community and chamber members on a more personal level. In addition to being the first contact for members, people and businesses thinking about moving to the area, and daily operations, she will be receiving hands-on training by working with the board on some major new and innovative projects to increase benefits to its members and the community.

Welcome aboard, Katy!

BLUE RIBBON WELCOME

As a SRACC member, you are invited to have a BLUE RIBBON WELCOME for your business where we invite our members, board, and ambassador volunteers to come out and take a photo with you in front of your business and submit to the local newspapers, our facebook and new and improved website welcoming you to the community. If you are already a member and are celebrating an anniversary, a new location, or something equally exciting, we would also love to do a Blue Ribbon cutting to announce your news! Just call the chamber at 870-856-3210 to be put on the monthly schedule.

The August General Meeting
will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 16, at
Patio Lino in Ash Flat.

Guest speakers will be:
Don Sharp, Highland Superintendent and
Julie Schales Seat, Rebel Booster Club President.

MEMBER-TO-MEMBER
DISCOUNT PROGRAM!

What better way to support our ShopLocalSpringRiver# program than to encourage our members to do business with each other? And to make this even sweeter, we are adding a new benefit to being a member of the Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce – a discount program from other members!

When businesses do well in our area, we all do well! More tax dollars for infrastructure and public services, more employment, and more interest in others to move here or open a business. As John F. Kennedy said: “High tide lifts all boats!” Plus, this will be another opportunity to get word out about what fabulous products, services, etc. you have to offer!

Let us know what kind of discount you would like to offer, such as a 20% off certain products and services, buy 1-get-1 free, refer a friend, first time free, etc. Be sure to make it something special just for being a SRACC member!

Want to get involved in the business community? The SRACC is forming an Ambassador Program of volunteers to help with Blue Ribbon Welcomes, special events and special promotions. This is a great opportunity for middle managers to network and meet the movers and shakers that make things happen to benefit the community, but have limited time to volunteer. If you are interested, call the chamber at 870-856-3210.
